Derek Moore  Photography

         My name is Derek Moore and thank you for visiting my page. I bought my first camera in 2007 and have never regretted it. One of the best investments I ever made without a doubt. Little did I know that photography  would become such a big part of my life. It's more than just a hobby to me, it is something that allows me to connect with my creator. God has created so much on this Earth, so much that it would take a lifetime and more to see it all. This is why I love photography because it allows me to capture or attempt to capture the Art which is of God. I believe I have been blessed with the talent to see and photograph those scenes.  Therefore, I don't see myself as the artist, however, I see myself as an instrument of God.

       To me, we were all given talents with various ways of leading others to Jesus and one of the ways in which I chose to do so is through photography. I want to become one of the most verstile photographers out there and I will only be able to do so by constantly learning and relying on God. 

          I would also like to add that photography is one way in which I choose to worship the Lord. I can spend hours alone with him and praying with him to show me what he wants me to see so I can share it with the World. I want to share the Art of the Almighty God. The purpose of publishing any photograph of mine is to bring the Glory to Him. My desire is that everything I photograph, whether it be a sunrise, a tree, a lightning bolt, or even a lowly caterpillar to never be viewed the same once a person sees my work; I call it perspective photography. As you will see in all of my social media and at the top of my page, my favorite bible verse is my inspiration for my continuation in this field and that verse is Amos 4:13.
